Taralga Road-South Bound Lane Closure

Council advises that the southbound lane on Taralga Road near Cunningham Drive has been closed due to a land slip.
Council staff are investigating the site and working to develop an appropriate solution for repair.
As a precautionary & immediate safety measure—particularly with increased traffic expected during the upcoming Easter break—the southbound lane of Taralga Rd has been closed.

Keep It Green: Use Your Green Bin for Leaves

Goulburn residents can place leaves directly into their green-lid bin for fortnightly collection. If your bin is full, leaf-only bags are available from 28 April to 20 June 2025 at Council’s Civic Centre, 184 Bourke Street.

2025-2026 Rates Based on New Property Valuations

Council advises that rates for the 2025-26 financial year will be based on the new property valuation with a base date of 1 July 2024.

Residents should have received updated property valuation notices recently. Rate changes will vary depending on how individual property values have changed in relation to the overall average increase.
