Local Government Elections - Office of Local Government NSW
A Candidate Briefing Session, facilitated by Local Government NSW, was held at the Goulburn Mulwaree Council Chambers on Tuesday 9 July.
The purpose of this was to provide information to people considering being a candidate in the upcoming Local Government Elections. The session provided information on roles and responsibilities of elected members.
When you enrol to vote, you will automatically be included on the residential role for that LGA, and you must vote in the local government elections for that area.
However, if you or your company:
- owns rateable land in a different LGA
- occupies or is a rate-paying lessee (a lease holder) of rateable land in a different LGA
You may be eligible to vote on the non-residential role for that area as well.
