Museums

The Goulburn Mulwaree Council Museums, including the Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum, Rocky Hill War Memorial & Museum, and St Clair Villa Museum & Archives, exhibit our region's rich and captivating history. These unique heritage places provide a lively local experience for exploring, reflecting, and connecting with the past, present, and future.

The three Museums are managed by the Goulburn Mulwaree Council on behalf of its constituents to enrich the community, with substantial support from a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and the History Goulburn group. The Museums are committed to ongoing research, preservation, and management of heritage buildings and significant collections.

Currently, Council is overseeing conservation works at the St Clair Villa to ensure the future of this remarkable heritage place. As a result, it is currently closed to the public.
