18 February 2025 Council Meeting Wrap Up

At the Council Meeting held on Tuesday, 18 February 2025, Marina Hollands, Director of Utilities, was appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective from 19 February 2025, until a permanent General Manager is appointed.

Several motions were passed, including the decision to implement regular reports from the General Manager. This will include quarterly updates on resolution actions and bi-annual reports on legal matters, compliance, and planning performance. This initiative is aimed at improving transparency and keeping the community informed about key actions.

Additionally, the creation of the Goulburn Mulwaree Heritage Advisory Committee was approved. The community will be invited to submit expressions of interest for membership, with a formal resolution expected in April 2025.

Support for local community events was also endorsed, with in-kind and cash donations allocated to the Multicultural Festival, St Saviour’s Society of Bell Ringers, and the Classic Riders Club of Goulburn. These donations will help support cultural and community initiatives.
