Council Announces Acting Chief Executive Officer Appointments

At an Extraordinary Meeting of Council held on Thursday 7 November 2024, Goulburn Mulwaree Council appointed two senior staff members to undertake the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) during the upcoming months, as part of the Council’s ongoing leadership transition.
Effective from 7 November 2024, Director of Planning & Environment, Scott Martin, will serve as Acting CEO until 12 January 2025. Following this period, Director of Utilities, Marina Hollands, will take on the role of Acting CEO from 13 January 2025 to 1 March 2025.
These appointments are in line with the operational needs of the Council and will provide leadership and continuity until a new permanent CEO is appointed. Both directors have extensive experience in local government and will bring their knowledge and expertise to the role.
The Council will review these arrangements and make further decisions on leadership at the February 2025 Council Meeting.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council staff and the community can be assured that both Scott Martin and Marina Hollands are well-positioned to ensure the continued effective operation of Council services during this period of transition.
