Operational Plan 2020/21

Councillors adopted the 2020/21 Operational Plan following the public exhibition period, inclusive of a number of changes which are available to view in the minutes. Eight public submissions were received.

Lansdowne Street Planning Proposal

This planning proposal and DCP amendment be deferred pending further discussion with the applicant.

DA 0287/1920 – 176 Sloane Street 

This application for a change of use to bed and breakfast accomodation with alterations and additions to the existing building was approved subject to a number of conditions which can be viewed in the minutes.

Draft Local Strategic Planning Statement

The Draft Local Strategic Planning Statement will be placed on public exhibition for a minimum of 28 days. The statement is intended to set out a vision for the region and to form a link between State, Regional and Local Plans.

Enforcement Policy

The Draft Enforcement Policy will be placed on public exhibition for 28 days, with submissions to be reported back to Council.

Performing Arts Centre update

Council noted the delay in the completion date due to the impact of the summer bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic. The expected completion date is now September 2021.

555 Forest Siding Road – Compliance Update

Council authorised the General Manager to commence appropriate legal action against this property owner to ensure compliance with relevant law and regulations should it be determined that the property owner has acted contrary to Councils previous resolution.
