Council calls for Graffiti reporting
Published on 10 March 2020
Goulburn Mulwaree Council has called on the community to report graffiti to us when it is spotted, so we can act quickly to remove it and keep our community clean.
A report to the March 17th meeting of Council shows there has been a decrease in graffiti issues with no reports in February, which is positive, however Council want to ensure it continues to trend in this direction.
“Let’s hope this trend of minimal graffiti continues, as it’s so important that our community facilities are looked after and well maintained” said Mayor Bob Kirk.
“CCTV projects such as the ones undertaken with Federal Government assistance in Belmore and Victoria Park are obviously having a positive effect, which is fantastic.”
Community members who do spot graffiti are encouraged to report it to Council via 4823 4444 so a service request can be generated and this can be attended to.
