Council to Discontinue Printed Waste Calendars from 2025
Published on 21 November 2024
Goulburn Mulwaree Council has announced that, starting in 2025, it will no longer be distributing printed waste calendars to residents as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
By transitioning to a digital format, the Council aims to reduce paper waste and the carbon footprint associated with printing and distributing thousands of calendars each year. The annual waste calendar will soon be available for download on Council’s website at https://www.goulburn.nsw.gov.au/Services/Waste-Management/Domestic-Three-Bin-Service, providing residents with easy access to the information.
For those without internet access, printed copies of the waste calendar will still be available at the Council’s Customer Service Desk and the Goulburn Mulwaree Library, and Council’s Waste Management Centres.
Council understands that this change may cause some inconvenience and it appreciates the community’s understanding as it works to ensure a more sustainable and efficient use of resources.
