Planning Matters Discussed at Last Night’s Council Meeting

At last night’s Council Meeting the following planning matters were discussed.

DA/0209/2223 - 2 SALFORD STREET, GOULBURN - DEMOLISH EXISTING SHED, 2 LOT TORRENS TITLE SUBDIVISION AND CONSTRUCTION OF DETACHED DWELLING

Consent was granted for DA/029/2223 a demolition of existing shed and construction of Detached Dual Occupancy with two lot Torrens Title Subdivision located at 2 Salford Street, Goulburn subject to the various conditions. These conditions can be found within the minutes on Council’s website.

PLANNING PROPOSAL - ZONING AND MINIMUM LOT SIZE AMENDMENT TO 407 & 457 CROOKWELL ROAD KINGSDALE

Council considered a planning proposal for 405 and 457 Crookwell Road, Kingsdale for an amendment of the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Environment Plan (LEP) 2009. The proposal seeks to rezone the land facilitate upwards of 275 future residential lots and reflects Council and Fringe Housing Strategy. Further information will now be collated, and the planning proposal will be forwarded to NSW Dept Planning and Environment for their consideration.

PLANNING PROPOSAL - 515 CROOKWELL ROAD KINGSDALE - AMENDMENT - URBAN RELEASE AREA PROVISIONS

Following a previous consideration of this planning proposal in September 2022, subsequent discussions with Government agencies have required a varied approach to the delivery of the planning proposals intended amendment of the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Environment Plan (LEP) 2009. The planning proposal will now be required to include Urban Release Area provisions which will ensure any future development of the site will integrate with surrounding development proposals.
